London – The capital city of England. With an estimated 8 million residents in 2012, you can imagine the demand for hog roasts and BBQ’s is extremely high and very popular. We often travel to the centre of London and its wonderful surrounding areas including including Croydon, Camden, Greenwich, Hackney and Westminster. Also we have been known to visit Sussex, Berkshire and Essex.
London is one of our favourite places to go, its a great place to have a party or family get together. We have been to all the different areas and we have even provided a hog roast on the River Thames which was great fun!
We usually cook the pig on site as London is just over 2 hours away from our premises in Bournemouth and we are restricted with the time when it comes to travelling with hot food.
Cooking the hog on site isn’t a problem, we are very self sufficient and just require access to the location about 10 hours prior to serving and you can leave us to it or if we cant have access that early we can set up nearby and come along when you are ready. Whilst the hog is cooking our cool boxes will keep the salads and sauces chilled and as the hog oven is powered by gas so we don’t need access to power until an hour before serving time so we can heat up our bain maries to serve the meat from.
Whether you are organising a birthday party in Bethnal Green, a wedding party in Chelsea, christenings or other family or work functions we can travel to you and a hog roast is a good cost effective option, served with apple sauce and stuffing in a fresh white roll you cant go wrong!

London Timetable
- We would cook the hog on site due to the distance we travel from our premises in Bournemouth so would need access at least 8-10 hours prior to serving. (Depending on size)
- While the hog is roasting we set up our 3 x 3 metre marque and other catering equipment.
- Salads etc if ordered, the rolls, hot stuffing balls, crackling, apple sauce and disposables are prepared on the serving table.
- About 30 minutes before serving, chef starts carving the hog into the hot trays.
- The server starts serving the guests at the required time.
- Any food not eaten will be left for the client’s use therefore the client will need to provide suitable containers.
- When service has ended, we clean the immediate area and pack away the equipment leaving you to enjoy your event.
